It's been a while, but here I am back flying the friendly skies at over 35,000 feet high. I'm on a red eye from Las Vegas to New York where I will connect with my flight to the beautiful island of Bermuda. . .YAY!

I just woke up from a short snooze during which, as a result of being escorted to the airport by newlyweds, Kevin and Nadine, I found myself, once again, thinking about the gender role playing we participate in while incarnate.

There are so many facets to this incredible game called life, and this is one of the most poorly understood of them all. The notion that the female's operating system (OS) is masculine, and the male's OS is feminine has caused so much confusion, frustration and ill-will between the sexes that divorce rates continue to soar out of control.

However, when we take the time to think about it, it, like everything else in creation, is brilliant. A human being is a 100% download of a Divine masculine and feminine construct, and yet, when incarnate, we only appear as one 50% or the other. How then do we maintain the integrity of the whole 100%? Well, that's easy enough. What we suppress, we actually express. If we appear as male (50%) we'll have a feminine OS (50%) and vice-versa. . . and voila . .100%!

We find the same pattern in our zodiacal configurations. Our Sun sign is our appearance and our rising sign is our behavior. And, with our brains: the right hemisphere operates the left side of our bodies and the left hemispheres operates the right side of our bodies. This is all God's way of maintaining the 100%. And the more we understand the phenomenon, the more we will appreciate and be thankful for it instead of upset about it.

The awareness of the different operating systems in times past, naturally had men spending most of their time with other men and women spending most of their time with other women. Needless to say, relations were much more peaceful then.

In current times, rather than in village-style communities where groups of men gather to do what men do, and women gather to do what they do, enjoying satisfying, quality time together expressing the way each group naturally and comfortably does, in our modern environment, things have definitely changed.

By-in-large, we live with small families where two adults with different operating systems attempt to muscle their partners into being and doing what is natural for him or herself. In far to many cases, one or the other of the partners either shuts down or runs. This would cease to be the case if we understood, appreciated, supported and truly utilized our different modes of operation and allowed ourselves and each other space to follow our hearts.

In Spirit, there are no genders because there is no need to create form. Everything is whole, perfect and complete in the noumenal realm. In the phenomenal realm, gender is mandatory where context (feminine) and content (masculine) are requisites for materialization. Gender creates, maintains and sustains form. And, if we choose to play on this field, instead of cursing it, why not play and love the dance, and by all means . . . TURN UP THE MUSIC!
